Claims FAQ's

We understand the many hardships that one undergoes when a loved one passes away, and we do not want to make the process of making a claim on a life insurance policy one more hardship. Therefore, we have made the claims process simple and specific to ensure that all legitimate claims are processed as soon as possible.

Prepare your loved ones for the unforeseen tomorrow:

To ensure that your virtuous decision of taking a Birla Sun Life Insurance Policy serves your ultimate purpose please make a note of the following:

Ensure your beneficiary designations are updated and on file with us. This would ensure prompt claim settlement in the unfortunate event of death of the Life Assured.

Pay premiums regularly. This would ensure that Policy is in force. A lapsed policy would mean no death benefits payable to the nominee.

Keep a record of all your insurance policies and make a file of it. Maintain record of the Advisor / Branch with their address and contact particulars. Ideally share this information with your loved one.

Educate the loved one on the process to lodge a claim. It is the responsibility of the beneficiary to inform us about the claim.
